NEW VILLAGE HALL PROJECT-LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Village of Urbancrest will accept sealed bids at the Administration Building, Office of the Mayor, 3357 Central Ave, Urbancrest OH 43123, until 4 pm local time on February 15, 2012 and open the bids at 4:15 pm in the Council Chamber for a general contract to construct the New Village Hall project (est. total construction cost is $785,000), in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by Bird Houk, 600 Creekside Plaza, Gahanna OH 43230. A pre-bid meeting will be held at 2 pm local time on February 1, 2012 at the Project site at 3492 First Ave, Urbancrest OH 43123.
Contract Documents may be examined without charge at the Administration Building and Bird Houk. They may be purchased from Key Blueprint, 195 East Livingston Ave., Columbus OH 43215, 614-228-3285, fax: 614-228-0687, for a refundable deposit of $60 /set. (Shipping Costs by Contractor) Make checks payable to Village of Urbancrest.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing wage rates apply to this project.
No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Village reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the lowest and best bid.
